How to Play Crypto Dice
Dice is one of the oldest and simplest Provably Fair casino games. You bet on whether a randomly generated number (typically 0–100) will be higher or lower than a target number you choose. The math is transparent and the outcome is verifiable on-chain.
Basic Rules
- Set a target number (e.g., 50.00)
- Choose "Roll Over" (number must be above target) or "Roll Under" (below target)
- Set your bet amount
- Roll — the result is a random number 0–100
Win Chance and Payout
The game automatically calculates your win probability and multiplier. Example: Roll Over 50 = 49.5% chance to win at 2.00× payout (minus house edge). Roll Over 90 = 9.9% chance at ~10.0×. The formula: Payout = 99 / Win_Chance.
House Edge
Most crypto dice games have a 1% house edge built into every roll. Stake.com, BC.Game, and Rollbit all use 1% house edge on dice.
Strategies
- Martingale: Double bet after each loss. Simple but risky — a losing streak can bankrupt your bankroll quickly. Only use with a very small base bet.
- Paroli (Reverse Martingale): Double after each WIN for 3 consecutive wins, then reset. Safer for short sessions.
- D'Alembert: Increase bet by 1 unit after loss, decrease by 1 after win. Slower variance.
Provably Fair Verification
Every dice roll can be independently verified. Before a session, the casino commits a hashed server seed. After play, you receive the server seed to verify each result. No result can be manipulated after the hash is committed — this is what makes dice truly fair.
