How to Play Mines at Crypto Casinos

Mines is a Provably Fair game inspired by Minesweeper. A grid (typically 5×5 = 25 tiles) hides a set number of mines that you choose. Your goal is to uncover as many safe tiles as possible — each revealed tile multiplies your payout. Hit a mine and you lose everything.

Setup and Rules

  • Choose the number of mines (1–24): more mines = higher multiplier but more risk
  • Set your bet amount
  • Click tiles to reveal: gem = safe (multiplier increases), mine = bust
  • Cash out at any time before hitting a mine to lock your winnings

Mine Count and Multipliers

Fewer mines = more safe tiles = smaller multipliers. More mines = fewer safe tiles = larger multipliers. Example: with 5 mines, uncovering 5 tiles pays roughly 2.5×. With 20 mines, uncovering even 2 tiles pays 10×+.

Strategy

  • Low risk (1-3 mines): High hit rate, small multipliers — good for clearing wagering requirements
  • Medium risk (5-10 mines): Balanced excitement and payout
  • High risk (15+ mines): One mistake ends the game — pure excitement play

Auto Cash Out

Most Mines games let you set an auto-cashout multiplier. Example: set 2.00× and the game automatically cashes out when your multiplier reaches 2.00× without you needing to click. This prevents accidentally clicking a mine when distracted.

The mine positions are determined before the game starts by a hashed server seed. After your session, you can reveal the server seed and verify that the mine layout was predetermined and not influenced by your tile selections.
